About Embrace Ministries

Embrace Ministries is dedicated to sharing the "great news" about the character of God . . .

That He is a Father who loves His children not only because He is a responsible Parent but also because He loves us with affection and feeling.
That He is a God who hugs.
That He is never too busy or too tired to listen to the voices of His children.
That He never rejects or abandons His children.
That, even though He is perfect, He is not critical, judgmental, or perfectionistic.
Instead, that He is the Father who loves without any strings attached.

This ministry began in 1996 with the publishing of the book The Embrace of God and has grown to include several translations of Embrace, international speaking engagements, and the publishing of Daily Embraces.

M. Lloyd Erickson is an international speaker, author, psychologist, and minister. He holds an MA in Religion and a PhD in Counseling Psychology. Currently he maintains a private practice in Battle Creek, Michigan, and is an adjunct clinical professor at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. In addition, as often as possible, he makes presentations on The Embrace of God at church gatherings, camp meetings, and retreats.

Key Thought
Many of us enjoy playing in a good ball game. And most of us enjoy watching a good game--especially if we know the players. We enjoy the exercise and the pleasant environment. But soon afterwards we forget all about it. It was an enjoyable experience but really not very important. Heavenly Father reminds us that life on this earth is not a game. Continued . . .
